Accquix Declarations

Your Slovak tax declaration. Filed correctly. No stress.

Every živnostník in Slovakia must file a tax declaration by March 31. Accquix Declarations handles it for you, from reviewing your records to submitting the final document.

Who needs to file

If you ran a živnosť last year, you almost certainly need to file

You earned income as a živnostník

Any income from your IČO — invoices, platforms, contracts — must be declared. If you operated last year, the declaration usually cannot be skipped.

You had foreign clients or platform income

Upwork, Stripe, Fiverr, Etsy, EU client invoices — platform and foreign income counts. All of it needs to land in the right place.

You also had employment income

If you worked as a zamestnanec and ran a živnosť in the same year, both income streams go into one declaration. That is where mistakes get expensive.

Declaration types

Type A or Type B. Pick the filing that matches your income.

This pricing uses the same declaration logic as the main pricing page. Type B is the common choice for freelancers and živnostníci.

Type A

€45 / after deadline

Type B

Most common

€145 / after deadline

  • Paušál or actual expense calculation

  • Combined employment and živnosť income

Scope

What Declarations does not include

  • SRO / company tax returns (corporate declarations are included in Accquix Firms)
  • Filing missing §7a reports (that's Accquix Health Check — €199)
  • Declarations for years prior to the current filing season (contact us to discuss scope)
  • Representation before the tax authority in formal proceedings
  • Ongoing monthly bookkeeping (that's Accquix Solo — from €49/month)

How it works

Four steps from order to filed declaration.

1

You pick a type and fill out the intake form

Tell us your income sources, whether you use paušál or real expenses, and whether you had employment income. Takes 5 minutes.

2

You send us your records

Invoices, bank statements, platform exports, or a spreadsheet with your income. We tell you exactly what we need — no guessing.

3

We prepare your declaration

We calculate your tax liability, apply applicable deductions, and prepare the DPFO document. You receive a draft for review.

4

You confirm — we file

Once you approve the draft, we submit it through the Slovak Financial Administration portal. You receive confirmation and a copy.

Deadlines

The calendar you need to know

March 15

Guaranteed filing cutoff

Order by this date to guarantee on-time filing without an extension.

March 31

Standard DPFO deadline

Standard filing and tax payment deadline for personal tax declarations.

June 30

Extended deadline

If the deadline is at risk, we file an odklad as part of your order.

After filing

Insurance letters arrive

Health and social insurance recalculations follow. We explain what they mean.

If you order after March 15 and the deadline is at risk, we'll file an odklad as part of your order at no extra charge. This moves your deadline to June 30.

After filing

Filing is the beginning, not the end

Most first-time clients are surprised by what comes after the declaration. We explain the normal follow-up letters before they arrive.

Health insurance settlement

Dôvera, Union, or VšZP sends a settlement notice. If your income was higher than expected, you owe additional premiums. If lower, you get a refund.

Social insurance recalculation

After your declaration is processed, Sociálna poisťovňa recalculates your advance payments for the following year. Your monthly amount may change.

These are normal, not problems

Every filed declaration includes a written explanation of what to expect, so insurance recalculation letters do not catch you off guard.

Social proof

What clients say

First year as a živnostník, no idea how the declaration worked. I had Upwork income, one Slovak client, and paušál. Accquix handled the whole thing — filed on time, explained what I owed and why.
IT developer, Bratislava
I had employment income from January to June and then switched to živnosť. Combined declaration, two income sources, different tax treatments. Type B covered everything.
Designer, Slovakia
I thought I needed Type A, but my Wise and foreign client income made it Type B. They explained it clearly and handled the filing without drama.
Freelancer, Bratislava

We work in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. Most of our clients are Ukrainian freelancers and entrepreneurs in Slovakia.

FAQ

Common questions

I use paušál. Is Type B still right for me?

Yes. Type B is the declaration type for živnostníci, including paušál. We calculate the 60% flat-rate expenses and apply deductions where relevant.

I had a job and a živnosť in the same year. Which type do I need?

Usually Type B. The declaration combines employment income and business income into one filing.

Do I need my own FS portal access?

No. We file on your behalf using a power of attorney. You do not need to manage the portal yourself.

My records are a mess. Can I still order?

Yes, but message us first if they are very disorganized. We will tell you whether Type B is enough or whether Health Check should come before filing.

Will you explain what I owe and why?

Always. Every filed declaration comes with a written summary: taxable income, deductions applied, final tax liability, and what to expect from insurance recalculations.

I filed my own declaration last year and think I made a mistake. Can you fix it?

An amended declaration is possible, but it is outside the standard scope. Contact us and we will assess the situation.

The deadline is March 31. Don't leave it to the last week.

Every year, clients contact us in the final three days before the deadline with incomplete records and complicated situations. The quality of work is better, and the stress is lower, when there's time to do it properly.

After your declaration, consider going monthly

A declaration tells you where you stood last year. Solo and Firms keep you clean all year long, so next March is a formality, not a project.
