ACCQX / 01—15

Accounting for the waymodern business actually works.

Digital businesses do not get paid in neat monthly bundles.

Revenue moves through platforms, balances, fees, refunds, payouts, currencies, contractors, invoices, banks, and tax rules.

Accquix turns that movement into a financial system you can understand, prove, and trust.

Built in Slovakia for businesses that do not stop at its borders.

01

Why accounting breaks

Business changed.Accounting kept the paperwork.

Digital business grew in layers.

Most accounting workflows responded with more manual steps.

01

Stripe did not replace the bank.

It added another ledger.

02

Marketplaces did not replace invoices.

They added settlements, commissions, refunds, liabilities, and their own definition of a transaction.

03

Selling across borders did not replace Slovak compliance.

It added §7a, reverse charge, OSS, foreign suppliers, multiple currencies, and evidence requirements.

01More exports.

02More screenshots.

03More documents renamed by hand.

04More questions sent back to the founder.

05More line items priced as if every click were a separate piece of professional work.

That is how 150 small sales begin to threaten the economics of the business.

How Stripe revenue stops matching the bank.

How a refund disappears between systems.

How a tax obligation is discovered after the deadline.

How the founder becomes the integration layer between the product, the payment platform, and the accountant.

This is not an unavoidable cost of doing business.

It is a system that was never designed for the way the business works.

The business became a system.Accounting remained an inbox.

This is not a document problem. It is a systems problem.

Traditional accounting often begins when a document reaches an inbox.

We begin earlier.

With the business event that created it.

  1. 01A customer buys.
  2. 02An invoice is issued.
  3. 03A platform records the payment.
  4. 04A fee is retained.
  5. 05A refund may follow.
  6. 06Several transactions become one payout.
  7. 07The bank receives a different amount.
  8. 08The accounting record must still explain the entire chain.

01Every step has meaning.

02Every number has a source.

03Every accounting decision should be connected to evidence.

When that chain is missing, automation only makes confusion move faster.

When the chain is clear, accounting becomes quieter, more reliable, and easier to scale.

More transactions should not meanmore manual work.

100 transactions100 manual accounting actions

Growth should increase the value of the business.

Not the number of repetitive actions required to keep its books alive.

A hundred structured sales should be processed as a structured financial flow—not as a hundred isolated mysteries.

We use platform data, exports, rules, reconciliations, and repeatable workflows to remove work that does not require judgment.

The goal is not to hide complexity.

The goal is to structure it once, then stop recreating it every month.

Structured processing preserves each legally distinct event and its evidence. It removes repetitive handling—not accounting responsibility.

02

How financial flow works

The bank is the end of the story. Not the beginning.

One bank movement can represent many earlier business events. Accquix preserves the path between them.

Select a step to read how it connects business activity to accounting evidence.

Selected step

Sale

The economic event: what was sold, to whom, where, and under which commercial model.

Commercial source

Sale → Invoice → Platform balance → Fee or refund → Payout → Bank → Books

We do not count clicks. We understand the flow.

A digital transaction is rarely just one accounting item.

It can represent revenue, a receivable, a platform fee, a foreign service, a refund, a currency difference, a liability to another party, or a combination of several of them.

How many rows are in the export?

The important questions are:
  1. 01

    What happened?

  2. 02

    Who was involved?

  3. 03

    Where did the money move?

  4. 04

    What did the platform retain?

  5. 05

    Which obligation was created?

  6. 06

    What evidence supports the treatment?

  7. 07

Can the result be explained later?

Accquix is built around those questions.

Modern accounting should not merely record the final amount.

It should preserve the path that produced it.

03

Our method

Understand the business.Trace the money.Design the system.

  1. 01

Understand the business before touching the documents

We begin with the product, customer, payment flow, jurisdictions, platforms, suppliers, and legal obligations.

    Accounting treatment follows economic reality.

    Not the other way around.

  2. 02

Trace the money from source to books

We connect sales, invoices, platform activity, fees, refunds, payouts, bank movements, and supporting documents.

The result should reconcile—and remain explainable.

  3. 03

    Build the compliance workflow

We map the operational facts that affect accounting and reporting: customer and supplier countries, payment flows, existing registrations, §7a and OSS status, reverse-charge documents, evidence requirements, and deadlines.

We then implement the accounting workflow for obligations established within the agreed scope.

Where a question requires an individual tax interpretation, evaluation of alternative treatments, tax optimization, or a formal tax opinion, we involve a licensed tax adviser.

  4. 04

    Build the monthly operating system

We define what data is needed, where it comes from, when it is delivered, what can be automated, what must be reviewed, and what the founder can stop thinking about.

  5. 05

    Keep the scope truthful

Not every business belongs at Accquix.

We do not pretend to cover complexity that requires another specialist, a tax adviser, a lawyer, or a larger finance function.

Knowing where the system ends is part of building one that can be trusted.

Compliance should be designed.Not repaired.

Most founders think about tax when choosing between a živnosť and an s.r.o.

They think about compliance later.

  1. 01

After the first foreign software subscription.

  2. 02

    After the first EU customer.

  3. 03

After Stripe has already processed hundreds of payments.

  4. 04

After an overseas contractor has already sent several invoices.

  5. 05

After the OSS threshold has become relevant.

  6. 06

After someone mentions §7a for the first time.

By then, the business may already have accumulated compliance debt.

We believe the accounting structure should be designed alongside the business model.

Before the process becomes expensive to change.

Before missing evidence becomes normal.

Before a temporary workaround becomes the operating system of the company.

Accquix helps founders understand which information, evidence, registrations, and recurring accounting steps their business needs—and builds a monthly process that keeps them under control.

Questions requiring an individual tax interpretation or a choice between alternative tax treatments are referred to a licensed tax adviser.

04

Responsible systems

Automation should reveal the chain. Not obscure it.

We believe deeply in software.

We also know that automation without accountability creates a new kind of risk.

A green checkmark is not evidence.

A generated category is not a professional decision.

A dashboard is not the source of truth simply because it looks complete.

Good automation removes repetitive work while preserving context:

  1. 01Where the data came from.
  2. 02What changed.
  3. 03Which rule was applied.
  4. 04What remains uncertain.
  5. 05Who reviewed the decision.
  6. 06How the final accounting result connects back to the original evidence.

Reviewed accounting state

The system should do the mechanical work.

Human judgment should remain visible wherever judgment matters.

We are not here to digitizean outdated process.

  1. 01

    Scanning paper is not transformation.

  2. 02

Uploading documents to a portal is not automation.

  3. 03

Adding AI to an unclear workflow does not make the workflow intelligent.

  4. 04

A modern interface can still hide an old operating model underneath.

We are interested in something more fundamental:

  • Accounting designed around structured business events.
  • Evidence that remains connected to every result.
  • Compliance embedded into the workflow.
  • Software that reduces work without reducing accountability.
  • A financial system that becomes stronger as the business grows.
05

Who we build for

Built for the awkward middle.

Too modern for generic bookkeeping.Too small for an internal finance department.

Accquix is built for founder-led businesses in Slovakia whose financial reality is already international, digital, or platform-based.

  • 01SaaS companies
  • 02Online service businesses
  • 03Digital products
  • 04Developers and independent professionals
  • 05Agencies working across borders
  • 06Subscription businesses
  • 07Creators and marketplace sellers
  • 08Businesses using Stripe, Wise, Payoneer, App Store, foreign contractors, or crypto payment processors

These companies are not complicated because they are badly run.

They are complicated because their financial infrastructure is fragmented.

One system knows what was sold.

Another knows what was paid.

Another knows what reached the bank.

Another holds the invoice.

And the founder is expected to make all of them agree.

We believe that work belongs in the accounting system—not on the founder’s shoulders.

06

Principles and direction

Services today.Infrastructure for what comes next.

Accquix began with accounting services because this problem cannot be understood from a distance.

Real businesses.Real accounting.Real edge cases.

You have to see the broken exports.

The unexplained payouts.

The missing supplier details.

The platform fee nobody recorded.

The invoice that does not match the transaction.

The rule that looked simple until a real business crossed three systems and two jurisdictions.

Every Health Check, onboarding, reconciliation, and accounting case teaches us where the existing system fails.

Operational knowledge compounds.

Systems built from operational truth.

Services show us the reality.

Software lets us rebuild it.

The long-term direction is clear: financial infrastructure that understands modern business from the original event to the final books.

Not another interface for moving documents around.A connected accounting layer built on evidence, traceability, and correct treatment.

The principles behind Accquix.

  1. 01

Accounting should not become more expensive simply because the business became more digital.

  2. 02

Founders should not need to translate their company into the language of outdated workflows.

  3. 03

    Every payout should be explainable.

  4. 04

Every number should have a source.

  5. 05

Every obligation should be visible before it becomes a problem.

  6. 06

Automation should remove repetition, not responsibility.

  7. 07

Compliance should protect the business without dominating it.

  8. 08

Accounting should be something a founder can rely on—without having to constantly think about it.

Where did this number come from?

  1. 01Original evidence
  2. 02Business event
  3. 03Accounting decision
  4. 04Journal entry
  5. 05Books

Already there.

The best accounting system is not the one that asks for the most documents, sends the most notifications, or produces the largest dashboard.

It is the one that quietly keeps the financial reality of the business complete.

Quiet when everything is right.Precise when something needs attention.

Accounting for businessesthe old workflow was never designed to understand.

Accquix connects platforms, payments, evidence, compliance, and books into one understandable financial flow.
